By car - leave the A1(M) at Jct 45 and take the A64 for York. Leave the A64 at the second York junction and take the A1036 Tadcaster Rd towards the city centre. When you reach a traffic lights where the station is signed to the left, continue ahead along Micklegate, down the hill and at the traffic lights just before the bridge over the river, turn left into North St. The hotel is a few hundred yards ahead on the right. By train - the station is ½ mile from York station, a few minutes by taxi. On foot, leave the station and turn left, then follow the one-way system round to the right to the traffic lights. Cross straight ahead and follow Rougier St, then take the next left into Tanner Row. At the end of the road turn right into North St and the hotel is on your left.
